والتم ماغاب من الهواجيس عني
تسولفن ثم اركضن كنهن سيل
حيام وعطاشا وردن العين مني
اسقيتهن صافي وهو مالح ٍ حيل
غبن وجالن وارتون وارتعني
ناخن بجنبي ياكن مابهن حيل
طاب المقام وبركن وارتكني
وانا بقايا اطلال شعث ٍ محاويل
ولا عاد لي هقوه بمن خاب ظني
.Remains of ruins and I built a tent for the night
I gathered what I missed from obsessions
They talk and then run like a torrent
Hovering while they were thirsty, I quenched them from my eyes
I gave them pure tears, and it was very salty
They drank, wandered, had their fill, and rested
They sat next to me as if they no longer had determination
Have a good place for them and stretch out and relax
I am the remains of the shaggy ruins
And I did not come back to me, who disappointed me.
