خرج من الظل يبحث عن عينيه , حاول الصراخ فلم يجد فمه , يكاد يسألني لماذا تنظر الي

ادور عن شتاتي من حين كنا صغار

صار الشتات اكبر من احلام لقيانا

مشينا ولا درينا ان الدروب كثار

حتى الطريق اللي مشيناه خلانا

ياذاكره من قش لا تشعلين النار

من بيادرنا  هسيس القمح نادانا

وفزاعة الحقل ترقص بنشوة زار

تومي ونركض حفاة والضحك خاوانا

سرينا ليل وتمحي اثرنا الامطار

ومن كثر ماتهنا عيا القهر ينسانا

انا يارفيق الظل وصورة غايبين الدار

سؤالي ياصديق الليل ليه الليل بكانا

I've been searching for my diaspora since we were young

We walked and didn't know that the paths were many

Even the road we walked left us

Oh memory of straw, don't light a fire

From our threshing floors, the hissing of wheat called us

And the scarecrow of the field dances with Sufi ecstasy

She nods and we run barefoot and laughter accompanied us

We walked at night and the rain erased our traces

And from how much we wandered, the oppression was unable to forget us

I, O companion of the shadow and the image of those absent from home

My question, O friend of the night, why does the night make us cry

ها انا اتأجج

فاتشعشع سفرا متواضع محتد

يفجعك يابيداء  هذا الشرود الذاهبة بي خيله الى مرابع النسيان

امضي كما الغيم اللا يعلقه مسمار على جدران السماء

لونك بحة مصلوبة  في حلق الريح

كنزعة توقية صوب مجاهل الحرقة بلا هدى

على الاعطاف  لفيف الانتظار  

وفي المحاني غزوة مغولية , مأسور وقيد  يشدني الى جاذبية حمراء

 فتثير الغيرة  عتمة  اليخضور

فأنا المسحور باللوحة التأخذني بتلاواتها الناصعة الزرقه

ازدحم كقيامتك الاخيره من اجداث الورق

يستهويني لونك السديمي الذابل في روح الشجر

سرب يغني واسراب تحط في العويل تثير جنون العطر  

ضجيج يحلق ,,  ليحط بهدوء فوق العشب الازرق النامي بروحي

عليكم السلام ياعطور العشاق التي تزجر الموت للنهايه

عليكما السلام ايها الساعيين في الاماكن التي لم تبرح اسرار صمتكم

علينا السلام ايها المثقلون بالمسافات المطويه بروان عيوننا

على المقيمين في غربتهم السلام

وسلام على  العابرين  في الفيء ومضمار الضوء

وعلى الاعداء السلم المحروسين بجنود الظن البالغ العطنه

شمس تقيم في فؤادي

وضحاها سواد عيني

ويحاصرني ليل الغياب

ملت عيوني الارصفه

ملت عيوني من انتظارك بالصدف فوق الشوارع

والمباني والمدارس والمرايا وصخور الاوديه

تعبت اقدامي في طرق ساعي البريد

متى اجيء عائدا

او ليت لي قلب ٌ بليد

او ثلج يذوب في وريدي

ياليت لي جسد جليد

كفى اعتذارك

وهل ترين

ان الاقامه في تخوم الانتظار مجديه

كفى اعتذارك واقبلي كالغيم حطي في يدي

اني ارفعها دعاء
