 أكتب لجهلي وفتنتها 

كل الرسائل في جيبي بلا عنوان

لا ساعي  ولم يسعى  يننا واشي

غبنا  فجأة، وعدتُ وحيدًا

لا هاتف ينادي باسمها، ولا حادي يُغني بحيّها

For My Ignorance and Her EnchantmentAll the messages are in my pocket, untitled and unaddressed,
No postman, and no one ever sought anything between us.
We vanished suddenly… and I returned alone,
No phone calls her name, no singer sings in her neighborhood.
